20MnV6 steel in hard-chrome plated round bars in the annealed condition represents an excellent solution for components requiring high surface resistance. The chrome plating provides an extremely wear-resistant surface.
Particularly suited for the production of piston rods for hydraulic cylinders and components requiring thermochemical treatments after machining. Supply in the annealed condition facilitates machining prior to heat treatment.
The surface chrome plating ensures excellent corrosion resistance and a low friction coefficient, key characteristics for hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
