Cutting steel bars to size
Siderticino offers a cutting-to-size service for steel bars, giving customers the ability to customize their supplies according to the specific needs of the project. This service is made possible thanks to a substantial fleet of sawing machines, which enable precise and fast cuts to be carried out. Our staff is highly trained and specialized in operating the equipment efficiently, ensuring that every piece is processed with the utmost care and precision.

Non-destructive testing for steels
Our company offers a non-destructive testing (NDT) service for steels, aimed at identifying and preventing defects in metal components, thus ensuring their safety and reliability.
Non-destructive tests are carried out using various methods, including ultrasound, radiography, penetrant liquids and magnetic particle inspection. Each method has its strengths and weaknesses, and the choice of the most suitable method is made based on the type of steel, the geometry of the component and the type of defect being sought.
Steel quenching and tempering
Thanks to our network of selected partners, we offer a professional quenching and tempering service for steel bars, in order to improve their mechanical properties and make them suitable for specific applications.
The quenching and tempering process consists of a series of controlled heat treatments, including quenching and tempering, which modify the material’s microstructure at the atomic level. In this way, a steel with greater hardness, strength and toughness is obtained, characteristics that are fundamental for components subjected to strong mechanical stresses.
